When the Senate resumes on 22 September, the Abbott Government will once again try to push its new workplace laws through.

These laws will expand the use of individual contracts which can be used to strip away pay and conditions, such as penalty rates.

They will also make it harder to get representation at work.

These laws can be stopped if three of the eight cross-bench Senators can be convinced to vote against them.
